MUSE 218SND/SN is an active ground subwoofer designed to deliver massive low-frequency power for large-scale sound reinforcement, perfectly complementing the MUSE 210L line array system.

Ideal for concerts, festivals, and outdoor events, the 218SND offers deep, controlled bass performance with outstanding SPL and headroom, extending the system’s response down to sub-bass frequencies. The enclosure houses two 18” B&C neodymium high-excursion woofers with 4” voice coils, configured in a bass reflex design for maximum output and reduced distortion. Frequency response: 30Hz – preset dependant. Maximum SPL: 148.5dB. Powered by a 4000W RMS Class-D amplifier, the onboard DSP provides 3 selectable presets for phase alignment, delay, EQ, and cardioid configurations. The rear control panel features balanced XLR IN/OUT, a rotary selector with OLED display for DSP settings, and gain control with signal/limiter LEDs.

INSTALLATION / RIGGING
• The MUSE 218SND/SN is designed for ground-stacked applications, offering seamless integration with stacked MUSE 210L arrays using the MS-F 210 bar.
• Constructed from 18mm birch plywood and finished with a scratch-resistant black coating, the cabinet features robust handles, a reinforced front grille with protective cloth, and integrated hardware for secure stacking.
• Compatible with the MS-T 218 transport trolley, KBW-1004S (4 wheels kit with brake), MS-C 218 Nylon Cover, MS-F 210 Flying Bar

CONFIGURATIONS
• GROUND STACKED CONFIGURATION: Can be deployed in stacks of two or more units beneath MUSE 210L tops, providing extended low-frequency reinforcement for large audiences.
• CARDIOID SETUPS: Using DSP presets and careful arrangement, the MUSE 218SND can be configured for cardioid sub arrays to minimize rearward bass radiation.
• HIGH-OUTPUT SYSTEMS: Ideal for large venues or outdoor events where extreme low-end energy and projection are required.

At the heart of the system is the amplification module with integrated TCP/IP network interface. Built on the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 standard, it ensures seamless communication with the INFINITO System Management Suite software and receives 24-bit, 48–96kHz digital audio streaming from any Dante-compatible device. Housed in a robust aluminum chassis with intelligent forced ventilation, the module features an OLED display with encoder for easy parameter adjustments. A high-brightness blue front LED allows remote identification of the device, even under daylight conditions.
