VERTUS CLA 208SA

The Vertus CLA 208SA is an amplified bass-reflex subwoofer designed for professional applications requiring compact dimensions and high-performance low-frequency reinforcement. It features two custom 200mm (8″) high-excursion woofers with 50mm voice coils, delivering accurate and extended bass reproduction. The frequency response ranges from 50Hz to 180Hz, ensuring precise coverage of the low-end spectrum. Powered by a 600W RMS Class D amplifier with a switching-mode power supply, the system combines high efficiency with low distortion. An integrated DSP processor offers four presets to adapt the subwoofer’s response to various acoustic environments.

The control panel includes XLR input and stereo link connections, XLR stereo Hi-Pass outputs, volume control, preset selection, 0°–180° phase adjustment, and status LEDs. The subwoofer also features Neutrik POWERCON input and link connectors for reliable power management. Housed in a 15mm birch plywood cabinet with a durable anti-scratch finish, the CLA 208SA includes two integrated handles, a top-mounted M20 pole socket, and front mounts for supporting CLA 604A modules. Its stackable design ensures easy setup in both portable and installed systems. The Vertus CLA 208SA is ideal for extending the low-frequency range of the CLA column systems, especially in live reinforcement contexts.
