Mitus 118FSA is a compact, flyable passive subwoofer designed to extend low-frequency performance in combination with the Mitus 206LA line array system. It features a custom 18” high-excursion B&C neodymium woofer with a 3.5” voice coil, delivering tight and controlled bass response in the 33 Hz – 100 Hz range. The enclosure is constructed from 15 mm birch plywood with a scratch-resistant black paint finish and includes a large laminar-flow port that minimizes turbulence and power compression, ensuring high output with low distortion. The system has a sensitivity of 101 dB SPL and achieves a maximum SPL of 135 dB continuous and 139 dB peak. The built-in amplifier delivers 1200W RMS and the DSP section located in the rear panel includes XLR in & link, delay, volume, phase control, and 8 presets for both hang and ground setups. The rear-firing FSCA configuration enables efficient cardioid setups in flown arrays, fully compatible with Mitus 206L rigging for integrated suspension. The modular design allows for use in small systems with just two cabinets or scaled up to complex arrays of up to 12 Mitus 206LA modules with multiple Mitus 118FSA subs for large-scale events. Supporting both flown and ground-stacked configurations, the Mitus 118FSA delivers powerful low-end extension in a compact and highly versatile format.
