The VHA 112SA is a compact bass-reflex active subwoofer from the Horizon series, designed to integrate seamlessly with VHA 406A line array modules. Tailored for applications where space is limited but deep and defined low-frequency response is essential, it is ideal for indoor concerts, theatres, touring events, and fixed installations.
Equipped with a high-excursion 12″ woofer featuring a 3″ neodimium voice coil, the VHA 112SA delivers an extended frequency response down to 50Hz, providing a solid foundation for compact full-range setups. The onboard Class-D amplifier delivers 1200W RMS, managed by an advanced DSP offering eight selectable presets that include optimized EQ curves for different type of configurations. The VHA 112SA can be used as a subwoofer in the so-called “2-way + sub” configuration or as the LF in a “3-way” configuration, with the VHA 406A specialized for MF and HF. The rear control panel is straightforward and intuitive, featuring gain adjustment, preset selection, and balanced XLR input/output connections.
Constructed from 15mm birch plywood with a scratch-resistant black finish, the cabinet is rugged and discreet, suitable for both ground stacking and fixed installations. Whether deployed horizontally or vertically, the VHA 112SA can serve as the base for compact arrays or as a low-frequency extension where precision, reliability, and sonic performance are critical.
