Vertus ClA 206

Equipped with the same waveguide as the CLA 406.2 but with only two 6.5″ woofers, the Vertus CLA 206 is the ideal speaker to complete CLA 406.2 systems in order to expand the dispersion of mid-high frequencies and obtain excellent uniformity of acoustic pressure in the listening area. It can also be used on its own, in clusters of CLA 206, and in combination with the Vertus CLA 118S subwoofer to create a compact yet extremely high-performance PA system.

CLA 206 is a passive 2-way column line array speaker system designed for professional sound reinforcement applications. It features two custom 6.5″ woofers with a 1.5″ coil and a neodymium B&C compression HF driver with a 1.4″ throat and 2.5″ coil. The large format waveguide provides a dispersion of 100° H x 25° V, allowing for a wide and even coverage pattern. CLA 206 has a frequency response range of 65Hz to 20KHz, making it suitable for a variety of music genres and sound reinforcement needs. The rear-facing input panel provides two Neutrik NL4M Speakon connectors In & link, and the bottom of the cabinet is equipped with an 1.37” flange for stand support.

The cabinet is constructed of 12mm birch plywood with a scratch-resistant varnish, and features two side handles and rubber inserts for protection and anti-slip on both the upper and lower sides. CLA 206 also has various mounting options, including four lateral inserts, two upper and two lower points designed to accept quick release pins or M10 screws. It also has a 35mm stand socket and can be coupled with other CLA 206 or CLA 406 speakers at angles ranging from 0° to 20° in 5° steps vertically.
